Input hours are the total amount of hours of the clips that you are planning on sending to us.
For example, if you have 25 clips and they total 4:45 hours, you would enter 5 input hours.
Here is how to calculate the input hours:
Option 1: Use the Project Panel in Premiere Pro
1. Open Adobe Premiere Pro and import all your video clips.
2. In the Project panel (bottom-left), click the icon to switch to List View.
3. Right-click on the column headers and enable 'Duration' to display it.
4. Select all the clips you plan to send.
5. Look at the bottom of the panel or in the Metadata panel - the total duration will appear.
Option 2: Use Adobe Media Encoder
1. Open Adobe Media Encoder.
2. Drag and drop all your video files into the queue.
3. Select all the queued items.
4. Look at the bottom of the queue panel - it will show the total duration of selected files.
This is quick and doesn't require editing in Premiere.
Option 3: Use a Timeline Sequence
1. Open a new sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro.
2. Drag all your video clips onto the timeline back-to-back.
3. Look at the duration of the sequence in the timeline (bottom-right corner).
Note: This method doesn't account for trimmed or overlapping clips - use it only for raw footage estimates.
