In order to save time uploading all of your video files, we've found that the best way to send your project to us, is to send Proxy Files, using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Here's how:
Create a New Project
- Open Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Create a new project and set the project location.
Import Your Media
- Import your high-resolution media files into the project. You can do this by going to File > Import or by dragging and dropping the files into the Project panel.
Create Proxies
- Select the media files you imported in the Project panel.
- Right-click on the selected files and choose Proxy > Create Proxies.
Set Up Proxy Settings
- In the Create Proxies dialog box, choose the appropriate preset for your proxies. Adobe provides several presets, but you can also create custom ones.
- Choose the destination where the proxies will be stored. You can store them next to the original media or in a specific location.
- Check the box that says Add Watermark to Proxy Files if you want to find the proxies easily.
Start the Proxy Creation Process
- Click on the OK button to start the proxy creation process. Adobe Media Encoder will launch and create the proxy files.
